It has been two years since I released my ‘Life Trilogy’. Now my latest project is complete: “100% Human”.
For the first time, I have written compositions for a jazz guitar trio. Some of them were written years ago and have now, in their finished form, made their way onto vinyl. Other tracks are new. I am very proud of this record. Perhaps my most mature work to date. Anyone familiar with my music knows that it always incorporates influences from many genres – here, for example, from rock, Afro, and modern jazz – even though the sound of this trio is relatively ‘classical’. You could even say it’s almost impressionistic, with plenty of space in the music…
With Phil Donkin on bass and Sebastian Merk on drums, I’ve been able to bring on board two fantastic, highly sought-after musicians from the German jazz scene.
Three of my songs are also available to watch and listen to here as videos:
Otherwise, of course, on all streaming platforms, such as Spotify, Deezer etc. But it’s best to download them on Bandcamp or buy a Vinyl, as we artists are still paid reasonably well for our work there.
